I was uninspired on what to cook, I tried Tasty and Yummly but there are few good Asian options and the ingredients are not easy to find. I also joined Facebook groups but many recipes there look quite hard or even MasterChef level and I was quite intimidated to try. So I watched YouTube videos to learn and it’s helpful. But I still didn’t have a way to plan and I ended up doing multiple grocery runs.
So although I really want to cook for my family, make cookies for my boy’s snack box, cooking and doing groceries are so time consuming and I feel guilty of not spending enough time with my 3 year old boy and my new born baby.
Then I discovered YoRipe, I find the app really easy to use and helpful because the recipes are simple to follow and healthy. There are curations and categories that help me to find what my family and I like, and I feel like I would always have something new to cook from the app. My ideal scenario is to do a weekly meal planning, find what I want to cook for the week and order all the groceries at one go so I don’t have to go to the store, it’s faster and also I won’t buy the wrong ingredients.
This is now possible now with Shoppable recipes! I was delighted to be one of the first to try this new feature before it gets launched and I love it. It’s hassle free from browsing for ideas to getting the ingredients. I encourage you to try it. 🙂
I know how busy and tired we parents are, but my husband and I value home cooking and will continue to cook because our biggest wish is that our two boys grow up healthily. I’m very glad the YoRipe team has created this new solution and I truly hope it’d helpful for more families like us. “
