One Microwave, One App, Many Meals​

Style, function and taste all in one!

We checked out the new Samsung Colour Microwave Oven Series and created recipes from brownies to fish pie and grilled chicken.

Result? Easy and Yummy.

The auto-cook features is simple and fail-proof: simply press a button and the microwave oven will run the best cooking setting for chicken, salmon fillet, brown rice and more.

The home dessert function is pretty cool too, it can make brownie, banana cake and sponge cake faster than an oven! 

Check out the below recipes and prepare for a feast with minimum effort. 🙂

Matcha White Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 90g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter , melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips

 

Steps:

Melt the butter in microwave.

Combine flour, matcha powder, baking powder and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add the melted butter, sugar and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Combine the wet and dry mixture and mix well. Fold in the white chocolate chips.

Spread the batter evenly onto the prepared glass dish and top with some almond slices.

Place the glass dish in the microwave and select the Auto Cook feature [2 – 4].

The brownie will be cooked in 5 minutes 30 seconds.

After cooking, let stand for 20 – 30 minutes.

Grill Cajun Chicken

Ingredients :

  • 2 Salmon filet
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper
  • olive oil
  • cajun mixture: paprika powder, garlic, & onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, cayenne chili pepper

 

Steps:

Wash salmon fillet and pat dry with kitchen towel.

Season both side of salmon sillet with sea salt & freshly cracked pepper. Rub with cajun mix evenly.

Drizzle with a little olive oil and marinate for 30 minutes. Cover & store in the fridge.

Place it on the grill rack, touch grill mode, touch increase button > to 1,  touch OK and start.

Once the beep sound, let it stand for 2-3 minutes before removing from the rack. Enjoy with Salad.

Rich Walnut Brownies

55 Mins

Wet ingredients:

  • 110g butter
  • 90g granulated sugar
  • 30g brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Dry ingredients:

  • 90g flour
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp coffee powder

Others:

  • 50g walnuts
  • 50g chocolate chips
 
Steps:

Melt the butter in the oven by selecting the “Microwave” 
function. Heat it for 1 minute.
 
Combine the wet ingredients.
In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients
as well as the walnuts and chocolate chips.
 
Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, 
and fold. Do not overmix. Pour the batter into a baking pan. 
 
Select the “Auto Cook” function, and set to 
“Code 2-4 (Brownie Baking)”. Press “Start/+30s”.
Let the brownies cook for 20-30 minutes.

Grill-Fry Rosemary Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken thighs
  • Fresh cracked sea salt & pepper
  • Dried rosemary leaves
  • 2 slices of lemon
  • 1 sprig rosemary leaf (optional)
  • Olive oil
 
Steps:


Wash chicken thighs and pat dry with kitchen towel.

Seasoned with freshly cracked sea salt & pepper. Rub in dried rosemary leaves thoroughly underneath the skin.

Place lemon slices & rosemary leaf underneath the thigh.
Rub skin surface with a little olive oil. Cover & marinate for 2 hours in the fridge.

Place chicken thighs on the crusty plate with rack. Touch the glass panel, grill fry function. Touch increase symbol (>) to no. 14, OK and start.

After cooking, let it stand for 2-3 minutes.

2 Mins Matcha Cup Cakes

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 Tbsp plant based milk, almond milk or coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp monkfruit (low carb sweetener)
  • 2 Tbsp cacao nibs
  • Whipped cream (optional if you are on dairy free diet)

 

Steps:

In small bowl, mix together coconut flour and matcha powder.

Stir in eggs, plant based milk, coconut oil, vanilla extract, cacao nibs and monkfruit.

Microwave on high for two inutes (depending on your oven)

Let it cook and top with whipped cream (optional)

Grilled Salmon Steak

20 Mins

Ingredients:

  • 150g Salmon Fillet
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Lemon Juice
  • 1 or 2 Potatoes
  • Salad
 
Steps:

Preheat crusty plate in microwave for 3 minutes.

Wash and cut potatoes in halves.

Place potatoes on heated crusty plate into microwave.

Use Microwave+Grill function and cook potatoes for 7-8 minutes.

Cut salmon into 2 and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice.

Place the salmon on the crusty plate and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Put the crusty plate with salmon into microwave and set 4 minutes on Microwave+Grill function.

Serve with baked potatoes and side salad.
